Psalm 16

You will show me the path of life  -

This path of life is such a pleasant and restful place to be.  I don't know why it took so many years for me to lay down my will and step into the beautiful path that my Lord had created for me.  Selfishness has robbed me of many years of walking closely to my Lord. If only.....My life is full of "if onlys" but I will no longer spend time - waste time - on fretting over the past.

In Your presence is fullness of joy -

I will wait in your presence oh my Lord.  Your mercies are never ending.  Thank you for Your unending chances to come to You. My desire is to rest daily in you, spend the day wisely, and share You with those around me.  To BE in your presence - Sharing who I know - not sharing religion.  Isn't that what we are taught?  Share the gospel with love and action and letting the Holy Spirit do His work.  Love People where they are.

At your right hand are pleasures for ever more -

I want to sit in your presence and share in your path with those around by the way I speak, the way I act, the way I live my life in private and public.  By the way I love - because you loved me first. 

I praise you Lord God for you are worthy.  Draw me into your presence and let me rest in You.  I am thankful for your daily bread - what ever comes my way today - I am thankful - for you can take the best situations and make they even better and you can take the worst situations and use them to change me.  I know not what today holds, but I do know that it is in your hands. 

Just as the 3 Hebrew children accepted the death by fire to walk in your ways, I choose you today. Hold me fast - my faith rests in You.   Thank you for my family.  Thank you for your Life given to me - eternal - beyond the confines of today.  Thank you for time with family and family shared with me.  Thank you for giving me a new family to belong to.  One where I can belong and be loved. One that loves me and loves You.  You are amazing and awesome God - my Lord and Savior. I worship yoo.
